Love, Natalie B

Casino Night in Clearview, 1988
I miss the daily wake up calls that started my day. It is amazing that even though we spoke the night before, we had what to talk about early in the morning.
Tamara, Adina, Dassy and Bim, 1988
I miss going over for coffee before school or sitting on my little porch having coffee after school.

I miss Eva playing Mahjong on a weekly basis, or forcing her to play on other nights of the week.
Mommy's 40th Birthday Party at Irving & Sandy Katz's

I miss the many Shabbat meals that we spent together.

I miss the phone calls from Costco, Shoprite, Pathmark, & Moishes asking each other, "do you need anything?" And causing us to have an ongoing cheshbon (tally).
Norwegian Cruise, 2008

I remember the cruises, the trips to A.C., the trips to the mall and all of the other "Yenta" good times.

I cannot imagine being in Clearview without Eva.

There is not a waking moment that I do not think of Eva or miss her. Eva was a wonderful friend, mother, and grandmother to her children as well as to mine.

Love,

  3. It looks like you had a very special friendship with Eva. Thank you for sharing your beautiful memories. Although I was not related to Eva through blood, she treated me as if I were. From the time Dena and I were best friends Eva made me part of her family. She wasn't only my best friends mom, she was like an aunt to me. Eva always made me feel comfortable and special. I've spent countless days and nights in her home, at her dinner table, at her family simchas, and in her bungalo. I only have fond memories when I think of Eva. I love her and I miss her.

  4. ...We have the opportunity to reflect on all the wonderful chasadim your mother engaged in during her young life. Inevitably it makes us sadder for her loss.

The cousins know that your Mom was the glue that kept us together. She would call me and say I know we keep in touch via e-mail but I need to talk to you and hear your voice. Your mother always went the extra mile to cement her relationship with me and our family. We felt her love and loved her right back.

Seeing the photos of Eva and Shoshana, Eva and Tanta Mila, Eva and Yitzi was a treat.
Shoshanna's posting was a wonderful memory of a beautiful friendship. Shoshanna how lucky you were to have spent every summer together with your best friend.

Your dear Mother left this world with a SHEM TOV. Her friendship was a treasure that we all shared
Our memories of her and her good deeds are a testament to who she was.
